Love these boots!

ProsWarm / Comfy, Waterproof
I get compliments on these boots every time I wear them- which is a lot! These boots can withstand a cold Minnesota-winter day, but also don't get your feet too warm when indoors.

love boots, but they are not for winter

ProsGood boots
good boots, but not for winter. I was searching for warm boots for Upstate NY winter and liked this one, thinking they are UGGs boots and should be warm. But they are not warm enough, have only sheepskin in upper part of the boot. But they look nice, true to size, i have got a lot of compliments. I kept them and decided to buy another pair warmer then this one.

It's what's on the inside that counts.

ProsTall enough, Warm
ConsNot cushy enough, Not fitted enough
This is my 2nd pair of Uggs. My last pair is over 10 years old and still going strong. I got these boots for the deeper snow and cold weather (-10C/14F). Since they are tall and leather the snow keeps out and doesn't stick and melt to them. For these purposes they have been great. I measure 14" around calf, 9" around ball of foot, 9.5" around bony part of ankle, 19" from floor to bottom of kneecap while standing. I am 5'9". I wear between 9.5 and 10, 40-41 shoes. My size 10 boots fit just right in the length, and measure 16" from the floor to top of cuff. I am disappointed in the fit around the ankle and shaft. I wish they were a little more snug. I never unzip the ankle to pull them on and when I pull the top laces tight around my calf, the base of the lace bulges where the suede meets the leather, so I have to keep them a little looser. I like snug fitted clothing in general. The other major disappointment is that the fleece only comes down to just above the ankle, so I don't wear them without socks. It does have a fleece footbed on the bottom. For my next pair I want a tall boot that I can slip on without socks that is fleecey all the way down to the toe. The fleece and leather on my older Uggs is much thicker and cushier. I wonder if another style might be more like this.

Good Boot....but...
PostedDecember 28, 2010
Bought these boots in tan from [...] online because UGG was sold out of my size (10). I usually only buy from their website. I almost returned them because they bunch somewhat at the ankle, and it was rubbing on the back of my ankle. However, I was wearing only thin socks at that time. I tried them with heavier, winter socks, and now they are just fine. I wear them through cold and snow and have not had any problems with the zipper, even when covered with snow. They're great for women with wider calfs (calves, sp???), which I have. Hmmmmm, now I have to go look up pleural of calf. Yes, I'm fairly educated!!!! Good boot overall!
