I just bought Undercurrent after I had my makeup done at a MAC store a few months ago. I remember just LOVING this color. And it is phenomenal. The shade is gorgeous and it stays on all day. It doesn't smear and I have even worn it on my waterline and it does great. However, it's a soft pencil. So when applying color, though it comes on strong, it gets worn down pretty quickly before needing to be sharpened again. I would absolutely buy for color alone, but this is one of those "unfortunates" that comes with it being a Pearlglide formula.
I've bought three of these eyeliner pencils. They don't last but a few hours before smudging & needing reapplication, but the beautiful color with very, very subtle gold shimmer is very flattering. Hence the reason I keep buying. A little trick, although expensive, is to use another brand that REALLY lasts until you take it off first, then using this pencil over the top. Works great!

Glides on well. Stays on all day. Cute colors. Love this eye liner. Often wear it without any other eye make up! Just liner and mascara and go!
