Good boot
PostedDecember 9, 2018
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Boot is warm. Does feel a bit narrow, I went a size larger than normal due to this. Not as comfortable as my Old Sorel Domninator boots they replaced, but they should work. Would be nice if they made wide boots.

Sorel Caribou Not Waterproof
PostedNovember 29, 2018
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently replaced my very old Sorels, and they were a great boot (light, warm and dry) for decades. Unfortunately the new Sorel Caribou boot I bought are not waterproof as advertised. Before the first use, I applied a waterproofing leather conditioner (recommended by the retailer), and although I've only used them three times, they leak at the seam. I was not in deep snow either, only 2-3 inches. Wet feet are not warm feet. Very disappointed and will try additional waterproofing or attempt to return the boots.

Cracks on side where boot creases.
PostedNovember 25, 2018
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I also noticed this year one boot has cracks where the boot creases. The boots look brand new with moderate use but unfortunately one boot will leak now
Poor quality rubber. Funny how the right boot is the only one that is cracked. I had a pair of different brand from 20 years ago they are still holding up after getting beat up. They have no tread left and that’s all the wear someone could expect from a quality product.

cracked rubber
PostedNovember 23, 2018
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After 4 seasons of light-to-moderate use the rubber developed cracks where the toe box creases on each boot. I can see other micro-cracks forming in other areas of the rubber. I expect much better quality from Sorrel. My similarly designed LLBean boots lasted for over 20 years without cracking. I chose the Sorrel's this time due to the heavier, better gripping soles, but it wasn't worth it.
