Solid shoe for the snow

Dads boots

My father recently passed and while going through his things I found his favorite pair of Caribou boots. They were very old but still in great shape. I took them to my deer camp and wore them. I like them so much I had to buy myself a new pair. They fit great and are very comfortable. I hope to have mine for as long as dad did. Thanks for making a product that makes memories.

Give me all the wool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a pair of felt Caribou that I loved to death (literally). Granted, it was due to a pair of poor quality ice cleats that punched a hole in the toe, but I digress. It was time for a new pair, and I much prefer wool for its warmth and moisture wicking properties. So far, these boots are serving me well. Very comfortable just like my last pair, and I have noticed a difference in the warmth vs. the felt (others may feel differently, but I feel the difference). Rubber gip is good so far, too. Stitch quality looked great right out the box. I got the tobacco colored pair, and found it true to the photo.
I really hope Sorel will consider selling wool liners separately since I would love to have some backup pairs without having to buy a whole pair of boots.
