This is one of my all-time favorite mascaras. It delivers, and does what it says. I get great length from this, separation and even volume. I don't really have any cons, but if I did it would only be that it can sometimes get a little too heavy for my straight asian lashes to hold a curl without some extra legwork from the eyelash curler. Otherwise though, it's incredible.
I bought this because of its rating as one of the best waterproof mascaras on the market. I've only used it once, but I'm not sure about it because my eyelashes clumped a LOT with just one coat.
No question about it, this is my favorite mascara. It builds lashes beautifully without clumping and lasts with no smudging or flaking. My favorite primer (better than Chanel's) is Lancome Cils Booster XL lash primer and I mention it because lash primer is a part of the equation for me. I prefer the Inimitable Intense formula to the Le Volume de Chanel because Le Volume doesn't leave the lashes looking as naturally full if you apply a second coat, it gets a bit clumpy. I've been using this mascara for years and no matter how many others I've tried, there's nothing that holds a candle to this one.
