Surprising!

I was skeptical about using this type of a brush to apply a liquid/and or cream foundation, but the other reviews encouraged me to give it a try. I'm glad that I did as I found it to even out my foundation beautifully. I have tried other synthetic brushes and they typically leave some streak lines that require additional bending, but that was not the case with this brush. The first several times I used it, I would find a loose hair on my face that had left the brush, but that eventually stopped happening and all I was left with was a flawless application. It is certainly better than its counterparts of sponges and synthetic brushes.

I used this brush to apply liquid make-up and did not like it. The head is too large to comfortably get into the nooks and crannies of the face, in my opinion. I also found that my foundation just stayed on the surface and looked swirled--hairs and fibers are too long and soft. For foundation, I recommend La Mer's Foundation Brush or the MAC 130 instead. The brush is well made, beautiful, and did not shed. I would have kept it for powder or bronzer, but I already have brushes for those applications.

Have several of Trish's brushes and this one is at least as good as the other ones (some of which I've had for 15 years!). Really blends in foundation evenly with a light touch! Well worth the money!

I own this brush and a few others from the Trish McEvoy line. They are simply the best and highest quality brushes I've ever owned. I highly recommend trying one. I love this one to apply powder. I've even used it to apply mineral foundation.
