I’ve always used Dr. Barbara Sturm Enzyme and foaming cleanser together however after a few years I’ve realized how much I’ve spent between these two $75 products per month. I decided to try something different and this brand is one I’m sort of familiar with and have had neutral to good experiences with.
Overall it smells nice, lathers nicely, and I feel “squeaky” fresh which is something I like in a cleanser. However I’m not sure it is as cleansing nor has the anti aging properties it claims. I do feel like my skin has been dryer lately but the weather is also changing where I live to fall.
I will continue to use this product, I’m on the fence about re purchasing as of now. I might see how long it lasts and crunch the numbers to see if trying something else or going back to Dr. Sturm makes more sense.
I so wanted to like this face wash because it’s supposed to be anti aging. Upon first use, I already didn’t like the cheap smell but wanted to disregard the smell and just focus on the benefits. However my skin started having reactions. I didn’t want to jump into conclusions that this was the product that gave my skin the rashes. It took me about a month to eliminate and rule out all other products and realized this WAS the product. With the unpleasant smell, I decided to return it after all.
Love this PTR anti-aging cleanser. Noticed a difference in the first few weeks. Can be a bit strong but I found it takes just a very small amount to cleans and leaves my face feeling fresh and ready for serums and moisturizer. Highly recommend!
I like this gel cleanser in the morning and sometimes at night as second step double cleanse after makeup removal. This is gentle with benefits of good acid ingredients, never drying, perfect cleanser.
