This is a beautiful dress, but it doesn't run small at all; I usually wear size 2P but sized up and tried both a 4 and 4P; both were too big and thus not flattering. I selected "true to size" since I think a size 2P, my usual size, would be perfect (although I can't try because they're out in that size).
Loved it! Thanks for letting me know it ran small since I got a size bigger than normal. Quick shipping and love the fact that I can return it if I need to free of charge! Makes shopping at Nordstroms a must! Especially since I moved from TX to OK and they don't have one here!
In the dictionary amethyst is violet. Well this dress is royal blue. I really think these dresses were mislabeled and the company just went with it because they were already shipped to stores. I am very upset about the color and I have no choice but to wear it since the wedding I am attending is this weekend. I bought the floor length version of this dress and it would have cost me $150 to hem it so I returned it.
It is a beautiful dress with a flattering cut but I wish it was PURPLE no blue.
