I bought this dress to wear as the Mother of the Bride at my daughter's wedding next July. I bought it in the "Stream" color (I also tried "Lake"). It is very simple and doesn't look like much on the hanger, but it is very elegant and lovely once you put it on. The wide V neckline is very flattering. I recently lost 35 pounds but am still very self-conscious about "looking fat" but this dress is very flattering. I think it will be comfortable regardless of the heat in July and it will be fun for dancing. Many "Mother of the Bride" dresses are rather dowdy (in my opinion), but this is up-dated and flattering without looking too young for flashy. I look forward to wearing it!

I thought this dress was pretty but not for me. It made me look hippy and was a bit to dressy for attending a wedding. Would make a nice mother of bride or groom dress. I border between a size 6 and 8 and felt the 6 fit perfectly. Also the color was not great on me. Would look beautiful on a slender blond!

Did not ever think I would wear a purple short dress as mother of the bride, but the dress is a beautiful color and is very flattering to my figure. Makes me look thinner than I am.

This dress is a beautiful color and a beautiful fit, but it was a bit too delicate and feminine for me. I needed something with simpler lines. It did look lovely on, but I didn't feel comfortable in it.
