I ordered the size the "True Fit" system suggested and while it fit in the waist and hips, it fell off my shoulders. While I really liked the color and considered the dress for my sons wedding, the idea of altering it to fit seemed silly. It was forgiving in the tummy area which is why I gave it three stars.
The dress is beautiful and will be wearing it to my son's wedding. The fabric is nice quality (has a few wrinkles) and the style is very flattering for a person who has a less than perfect figure. It does run small so buy the next size larger. Recommend it highly.

Absolutely Love the dress - especially the color- but had to return it. Because of the layers, my seamstress was unable to take it up. Got the the dress in petite from Dillard's. Had to get it in Navy- not the beautiful amethyst .

I think this is a beautiful dress. I have never purchased online something I couldn't try on first so I was nervous. I ordered a size larger than I normally wear and it fit everywhere but the shoulders. They keep falling off and cause the upper part of the dress to sag. A little alteration and it will be great! Also, I am sending this one back (mid blue) and getting the azure dress because I believe it will match my son's wedding colors better. But I love the dress. It is very flattering and feminine. I'm looking forward to wearing it to my son's wedding in August.
