Great boot

I initally liked this boot because it looks nice enough to wear to work but stylish enough to pair with skinny jeans. I think it has a more timeless appeal than many of the boots available now.
My only suggestion is to try these on in a store before purchasing because they run extremely large. I normally wear an 8.5 and an 8 in other Frye boots and I got these in a 7.5. I have average calf and these fit easily over jeans but, because of the elastic-like material, fit well without looking stretched out when I dont wear them over pants.

A very finely made boot - the leather is beautiful and soft, both inside and out. And while I normally have trouble finding boots for my slightly wider calves, the goring on these boots provided nice stretch around the shaft without any sagging. But the styling was a little too casual, masculine, and clunky. Okay for skinny jeans around town, I suppose. But they did not look good for a dressier, professional look. The shoe size ran a little large too - I normally wear a 5 1/2 but these felt like a 6.

Just arrived in the mail, stunning frye boots. Fits and looks amazing. recommend to who ever has larger calf's this is the boot for you. Soft and padded inside the foot of the boot, looks fab on. Both thumb's up !!

I'm always on the hunt for boots to fit my athletic calfs and these are perfect!!!! The stretchiness of the shaft keeps it snug so it's not loose or baggy. I've finally found my new favorite boots.
