Wanted to love it

I so wanted to love this necklace but ultimately I decided to return it. One of my initial issues was that the leather wasn't cut precisely within the three main chambers, so there was a little bit of brassy gold showing around the edges. For such a simple necklace they really should have taken more time with this detail. It's a unique shape and I love the idea of it, I just wish it were a nicer quality. I would be happy to pay more for something that doesn't look so cheap. I also had trouble with the chambers flipping while I was wearing it. The dilemma is that it IS cute on but It seemed silly to have to talk myself into keeping it, especially when I can use the money toward something I do genuinely love.

I bought the khaki color, and while the piece is beautiful, it is darker in person like everyone else is saying. Nice piece, just keep that in mind!

Khaki hard to match skintone

I am Filipino with black hair so I thought the black would be too stark. I initially purchased the khaki. It is more like a taupe. It didn't go well with my skintone - light olive tone. I exchanged for the black and it is so much better on me. The weight of the necklace is really nice. This is my first statement necklace and I love it!

I purchased this in the tan, I like the neutral tone, can go with almost anything. There is a bit of weight on this, not cheap feeling.
