I accidentally stumbled upon this gem while looking for a product in another line. I do not like wearing liquid foundation every day. I asked the sales person for a suggestion for a powder alternative. He told me this was his favorite. I was skeptical because I have tried several others. They felt dry and did not provide good coverage. This one does not disappoint, it goes on velvety smooth. I use alone with a primer or on top tinted moisturizer. The only con is the color selection. I wear the Peach in the winter. I wish they had one shade darker for summer. I make it work with a little bronzer. If you do not love this I would be surprised.

This is slightly lighter coverage than I'd prefer, and it does go very fast--likely because it's so finely milled. I use a kabuki style brush to apply it, which I think helps it to blend better on my skin than the included pouf. The finish is extremely natural, and the Peach color is perfect for my fair, warm toned skin. Unlike so many other powders, my sensitive skin doesn't feel itchy or dry after applying. I do need to reapply halfway through the day, and I wish it weren't so expensive, but after trying a dozen powders to replace my former (discontinued) brand, this is the clear winner.
Excellent powder. Natural coverage. Quality ingredients. Lasts and lasts. Would have been 5 stars if they offered a REFILLABLE powder. Get with it, what a waste to have to throw away a lovely mirrored compact each time! Shame on you, Chantecaille!
Absolutely nice. Smooth, silky, skin looks evenly covered, color is outstanding. I have got many compliments, in fact it is thanks to this foundation. Especially when in summer heat my skin becomes red and this foundation helps me to hide it.
