I have tried SO. Many. Powder. Foundations. It’s the most I’ve bought from any makeup product because I love the time-efficiency and ease of them, the versatility, and the finish for my oily skin. I am not exaggerating when I tell you, there is NOTHING that compares to this. I still enjoy trying out others as the makeup lover that I am, but every single time I use this, I am blown away. I don’t know how they do it, but it’s the most skin-like powder foundation that’s NOT mineral (which always cakes on my oily skin, no matter how finely milled and what-not), with a super soft, blurred, velvety finish that truly, as most Chantecaille products, looks like SKIN. It wears all day in the hot Texas sun, it doesn’t crease, it doesn’t bunch up, it doesn’t oxidize, doesn’t do anything you don’t want it to. It is literal perfection of a powder foundation with ONE exception: the shade range. It sucks. PLEASE, extend it, Chantecaille. This is too amazing to be so limited in shades!! I will say though, they can stretch. You can make it work, but… it’s $80. I have to use 2 shades as with most foundations (Camel + Bamboo) but alas… what can we do except shell out $200 to look decent. And I hate to say, it’s worth it. If you are a powder foundation lover, or have never been a powder foundation lover, and can somewhat find a shade, please give this a try. It’s life-changing.
Best compact on the market. Great coverage, long wearing, smooth & silky! This is my 4th time purchasing this wonderful powder in Peach! I bought it on sale.
