This stick is a concealer and a foundation all in one. It is perfect to bring along on long flights, you don't even REALLY need a brush! (For better application, though, you could always use one.) I recommend that you buy two. One in a lighter shade, and one darker, for the perfect contour/highlight routine. All in all this is a great product, and an essential to any gal's collection.

I love Chantecaille makeup, and this stick is the perfect thing to keep in my bag for touch ups throughout the day/evening. I like how it's compact and not greasy. I do not wear much makeup and just like a little bit to even out my skin tone. This stick does the trick!

Not the coverage I anticipated

Allow me to qualify my four-star rating despite my not being pleased with the item. I am sure the product would be wonderful on younger skin bearing no signs of sun damage. I already use the Chantecaille Total Concealer, so why I switched to New Stick, who knows. I need the extra coverage that the Total Concealer provides. Having said all of that, I would recommend the product for skin types needing just a touch of minimal coverage but not for covering blemishes, spots, dark circles near eyes or other imperfections. The product does in fact leaves the skin with a pleasant dewey appearance and is otherwise very nice. The other thing I was not crazy about was the way the tube works, yeah sounds stupid, but the product initially does not wind down inside the tube completely and about 1/8th of an inch of product remains sticking out requiring one to be more careful than wanted putting the top back on. May sound picky, but this reviewer finds that annoying particularly for a $45 product, when a lesser costing product from Cinique DOES wind all the way inside the tube. Not the first time I have run into anomalies related to Chantacaille's packaging.
Today I chanced upon the Chantecaille counter. I was introduced to the product for the first time. I was very impressed with the New Stick. I like the dewy look, the ability to use as concealer or foundation, the fact that I can apply more if I want more coverage (rosacea) when needed, and the compliments I received afterwards! I am 56, skin is not as it used to be! The formula does not settle into the fine lines under my eyes. That is a plus for me!!
