This was my second red wing purchase and fourth boot purchase from Nordstrom, I am extremely pleased with my red wing Beckman boots. As with most red wings they require a break in period to get a comfortable fit, these boots look and are very well made. I'm sure I'll enjoy my purchase for many years to come.
The construction and materials of this boot are top notch. The picture of the boot in brown isn't an accurate depiction. The boot is a more orange-ish color than the deep reddish brown in the picture. It was easily remedies with some leather dye--I chose mahogany and it turned the boot the same color as the picture. The only other criticism I have is in regard to the internal seam around the ankle. The seam creates an internal ridge that rubs as you walk. I covered this seam with mole skin and it smoothed the seam.--with normal wear I'm thinking the seam will flatten to the shape of my foot and the moleskin can be removed. That said--great boot anyway--with some minor alterations I'll probably have this boot for 20 years.

Prosuncomfortable
Very stiff and uncomfortable. Might be OK after breakin period. Very overpriced for comfort level although good materials used.

Prosgreat boots
I already have the beckmans in black cherry color..wanted a more lighter shade hence went with the Cigar Featherstone.
Must say that the pictures on website are a little off - the Cigar looks more like the Chestnut color posted on the website.
As with all RWs, they are a little uncomfortable initially, but will get more comfy with wear.
