After dealing with a lot of professional stress and the resulting acne influx that came with it, my skin was on the recovery swing. Unfortunately, as a significantly pale individual, the marks left by healed acne take a lot longer to fade than they might on others. I decided to change my evening cream to the Retinol Intense thinking that now I've hit 40, retinol can't be a bad thing to add to my regimen so long as it doesn't irritate my skin. Chantecaille was the right way to go to start using retinol. Retinol Intense has soothing botanicals mixed in with the retinol to reduce irritation that might normally be experienced. I've noticed reduced hyper pigmentation from the acne scars and smaller pores overall after several weeks of use. If you're looking for gentle, yet effective, this is the way to go.
I've been using this cream as a night cream for about two weeks and really like it. I've had bad experiences with Retinol products in the past, so I had my fingers crossed. Fortunately, this cream was actually soothing. I'm used to using Creme de la Mer as my night cream, and am happily surprised by how dewy and supple my skin feels after application and in the morning. Very few night creams achieve that. I've noticed a gradual reduction in the appearance of fine lines, particularly around my eyes/upper cheeks. I plan on alternating this cream with my Creme de la Mer, as I hear Retinol becomes less effective over time. So far, so good!

I use this every night; my skin is smooth and the pores have diminished. There is no redness and flaking.

Proslightweight, absorbs quickly, worth the dollar
This product, along with the others, that were suggested by the gentlemen from Chicago is why the purchases were made. The retinal intense cream was the first bought & very happy with the results. It certainly does give the skin a very radiant appearance.
