I have been getting the mystic spray tan for the last couple of years, but I got tired of paying so much for it so I purchased this after reading so many great reviews. It has definitely lived up to the hype! One of the things I love the most is that it fades evenly and the smell isn't very strong and is pleasant. I have very fair skin and this leaves just the right amount of color. If you have darker skin, it may not be dark enough though. Also:
- Be sure to buy the mitt. I cannot imagine applying this without the mitt. - Make sure it fully dries before getting into bed. One time I went to bed too soon after applying it and when I woke up, I had lines on my legs from the sheets. Also, I always sleep on a dark colored sheet after I've used it because I've found that some of the color will transfer. - When you rinse off your skin the next morning some of the color will rinse off but your legs will still be tan - Use the circular motion when applying it. - Use very sparingly on the feet and ankles.
I don't miss getting my spray tan at all! This is so much better and I'm so glad I tried it!
I have used the St. Tropez Self Tan Express Bronzing Mousse before so I thought I would give this a try. Looooove this one and I can't really tell the difference in tan, but like that I am able to put it on before bed and wake up to take a quick rinse and wash off the bronzer.
The fragrance is strong and can be overwhelming but good. When the scent fades, of course you can still smell the "spray tan scent" but you will find this in pretty much every other Tanning solution whether it is at the custom air brush tanning salon or another self tanner from a different brand.
I made the mistake of applying it to my face and woke up with a mild allergic reaction around the eyes, although my body seems completely fine. I would advise against using it on your face. But St. Tropez seems to offer Self Tan Sensitive Face Lotion which I will most likely buy to go with this product.

PROS * looks natural, sun-kissed * dries quickly * no bad tan smell * instant tan just after application * when applied during the day, you can control how dark you want to go. They recommend to wash it off after 4-8hrs. * I applied it four days ago and my tan still looks 'fresh' * fades evenly
CONS * I had difficulty applying it over elbows and feet. I would recommend using some lotion first over these areas, so it doesn't look too dark
