Nordstrom's Beauty Advisor said that these pearls tend to go on lighter than they appear.
So if you are like me and have an olive skin tone #3 is for you. The Beauty Advisor also said that golden skin tones would also use #3.
I like how these powdered pearls give my skin a lovely sheen. I use these powders over my primer and concealer. (See my reviews)

Prossheer coverage, natural-looking
I love Guerlain's Météorites compact powder so I bought this to keep only on my vanity. However, I wasn't aware that there is no coverage because it only adds a sheer brightness effect versus covering any shine or absorbing oil. For now, I use it just to set my foundation and will use the compact powder on my nose as well. Once this runs out, I probably will not buy it again. It's fine to have, but not worth the price to give me a "glow" that doesn't last all day. But I still love you, Guerlain!
I had read about the Meteorites Pearls so many times and thought, what's the big deal? However, I was at Nordstrom buying the Lingerie de Peau foundation (also amazing, will write a review for that!) and I bought these to get the gift with purchase. Let me say, they're amazing! They're perfect for setting makeup without adding any loose powder to make my fair skin already more pale - they add subtle shimmer, not cakey-ness. They don't provide any color coverage, but they set and reduce oil (without providing total matte coverage). Not to mention, they smell divine - the classic Guerlain candied violets fragrance!
