I ordered 3 size 6 dresses in different shades of blue for an upcoming wedding and this was definitely a no for me. It runs large all-over and is a heavier fabric than the more flow-y material in the other two dresses ordered. Also, on this particular dress, I noticed as soon as I opened the bag, it had clear marks along the chest area where the dress had been pressed. It is a nice color, and if you are larger in the bust than me (I'm barely a 36B), you need a little more room through the waist and hips, and you want a dress with more structure, this could be good for you.

I'm true to size 12, ordered size 10 and it was still way to big. Order 2 or 3 sizes down.

Lovely dress. Fits perfectly. Got the lapis shade of blue. If you have a good figure, this dress enhances it. "The Joan of Mad Men" comment from other reviewers, soo true. It's one of the reasons l bought this dress. Fabric , great quality. Wearing this dress right now, i feel really good. Donna Ricco dresses are classic. Love 'em.

I'm a size 14 hourglass, and the dress was too big in the small of my back, too tight on the sleeves, and oddly boxy in the shoulders (looked like it wanted shoulder pads). This might be really cute on a smaller-sized woman, but if you're a larger size and/or have large arms or a small waist, I don't recommend! (If it had seemed tailorable, I might have kept it!)
