Prosgreat for play
ConsToddler
I really wanted to get my daughter black hunter boots to match mine, but couldn't find any in her size 5.5...I took a chance on the toddler size 8, and they fit! Well, enough so that she can play in them, anyway. Since they are a little big they will last awhile. And the dirt from our backyard adventures washes right off.

And I'm a size 7 in women's! I love Hunters and have a yellow pair of Originals I bought about 7 years ago. Those poor babies have seen it all, and the heels are nearly worn away. I've always received tons of compliments on them, and I wanted to get new ones, but I wished they were cheaper!
Then I found out about the kids sizes, and that I might be able to fit them! I felt a little silly trying on shoes in the kids section with babies who can't even walk yet trying on shoes, but for $50 less than women's I can deal with it. Well, happy to find that I do indeed fit the kids sizes! They're big enough on me that I can even wear them with the Hunter socks. The boots don't go all the way up to the bottom of my knee, but I think I prefer the kids height anyway... Plus, the reflective patches are a nice feature, since I walk mostly everywhere and the sun sets early in winter.
I bought the black glossy ones, but I think I might just buy the yellow, purple, red, and blue to add to my collection... I know these Hunters will last me a long time!

ConsBig Kid
I bought these thinking they would make good snow boots for a trip up north. I wear a women's 6 1/2 and the big kid's size 5 was perfect with the welly socks (and cheaper!). Although waterproof, I wasn't convinced they would be warm enough, and as I walked around the house in them I decided they would not be comfortable for all the walking I would be doing in NYC, so back they went. They would make fine "barn boots," just not everyday snow/walking boots.
