I had to order one size up from my normal size to have a good and comfortable fit. I will take advantage of the alterations to get my perfect fit. Love the dress and the way I feel in it! It is sure to be a favorite of mine!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this dress. My daughter picked it out for me for my son's wedding. It was the only dress I tried on! It was perfect!! Very comfortable while dancing. I can't count the number of compliments I received. In fact, my sister in law got the same dress, in a different color, for her daughter's wedding! My daughter is getting married next year and I would love to get it in another color...but I won't. This dress will be hard to top.

This is a very pretty dress with lots of layers but fitted under the bust. I am still considering whether to keep it or not as it is about five inches too long on me. I am 5, 5". I didn't see an option for a petite which may have worked better.

If you are a short-waisted, apple-figured woman, this is the dress for you! I actually purchased this dress after trying it on at a Nordstrom's store in Atlanta. I tried on so many dresses that I lost count and had basically given up on finding a dress to wear to my daughter's wedding. What makes this dress different from all the rest is the WIDE waist band just below the bust. It creates a waist (where there is none#. I am a B/C cup and will have to pad my bra a little, so if you are bustier, it will fit there also. When I walked down the hall in the dressing room area, it flowed and swished and felt fabulous. It is a dress that makes you feel feminine and pretty. The fabric is soft and comfortable, so I know I will enjoy my daughter's special night. I am a youthfu 53-year-old woman and didn't want the typical MOB dress with a jacket, and so this is just perfect. It makes me look like the MOB without making me seem matronly. As far as fitting the dress, if you are short-waisted and carry extra weight in your middle, you need to order a size up. I am a size 12, but it took a 14 in this dress. I will have to have it taken up under the arms a bit, and since I am 5'4, I have to have everything altered for corrrect length. If you are a taller apple #if there is such a thing), you probably would not have to have it hemmed. The dress is a lighter blue than navy, but at night it appears to be navy. It is very elegant, and looks very good with pearls. I can't wait to wear it!
