I was looking for a mother of the bride dress for daughter's wedding in Nov. This dress is perfect for the wedding. After reading numerous reviews I decided to order this dress and can't be more pleased. I'm super excited to wear the dress in Nov. The dress is elegant, feminine and flattering. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!

I had tons of difficulty, first of all, finding a size that fit. I finally found the right size, after going up two sizes from what I normally wear. If you are "model-size", the dress will look good on you, but even after finally finding the correct size (and wasting a lot of time shipping back and forth), it did not look good on me at all! Also, the material seemed cheap, and the zipper is cheap as well. I was lucky to get the dress zipped on and off without breaking the zipper, especially since I had to return the dress. The wide waistband only accentuated areas that I did not want to highlight. Some of the reviews were very positive, so I guess it just depends on your body type, but the dress definitely did not work for me. (Oh, and those who stated that the dress runs large, perhaps they just don't know what size they normally wear, because it definitely does NOT run large; just the opposite.) The only reason I kept trying with this dress was because someone in my family really wanted me to get it. I went with something much more flattering instead.

I bought this dress for my step-daughter's wedding (next summer, but I suspect I'll wear it before then, it's so lovely). I loved the pics online, and almost all the reviews were positive.
It's a beautiful, soft color (I got the "violet") and the design is floaty and very elegant. The combination of swirly chiffon layers and the wide mini-pleated waistband is quite flattering. Also (great for these 90-degree days) it's very light and cool. It makes me feel like visiting royalty. ;-)
As many other reviewers said, it's surprisingly long; I'm just over 5' 7", and wear a size 6. It will be the right length only because I'm wearing 3 1/2" heels!
