I ordered this dress in the blue violet. It was darker than the on-line picture, deep, but bright blue, with purpley highlights. The fabric seemed to glean. When i tried it on, I could only smile. I felt so good. I never realized that a dress could make me feel that happy. It flows beautifully, the fabric is soft, no scratchiness, and I loved the color with my light pinkish complexion. I really LOVE this dress. Because I read all the reviews about a dress before purchasing, I ordered a size down as many had wrote that it ran big. Well, it was too small for my frame. Yes, it fit over the waist area, but not the rib cage, as I am large boned. I returned it for an exchange in the next larger size. So I'd recommend that if anyone wants to order this dress, measure 2 areas: the waist and rib cage. But, I adore this dress, and will look forward to wearing it as a MOG for an early October wedding 2012.

Really like this dress and how the layers flow. I also love the fact that it has some sort of a sleeve, albeit short. I am so tired of all open sweetheart dresses which limit those of us who are not as full on top! My only disappointment was that they did not have it in my first color choice of the purple (Lilac) so I ordered it in Smoke. The dress is more on the long side so you will most likely have to have it taken in.

Gorgeous color (Earth), but I ordered a 6 and it was too big everywhere . . . by the time it arrived the 4 was sold out. I would assume in a dress of this quality one should order down a size, if between. Otherwise -- spectacular.

This is a beautiful and comfortable dress. The quality is wonderful - it is lined with a super soft material that feels great to wear! The movement and flow in the skirt is lovely - it makes you feel like you're floating!
It definitely runs about a size too big - I'd advise ordering a size down. I am 5'7", 140 lbs, B cup, and I usually wear a size 4 or 6 in dresses. I ordered a size 4, but it was too large so I had it taken in (there was no size 2 available in the color I wanted). After having it taken in, it fits perfectly.
It's also quite long, but thankfully with 3.5 inch heels the length was perfect for me (just barely touching the floor), so I did not need to have it hemmed.
I ordered the lavender color, and it turned out to be a slightly darker color in person than it appears to be on the website. But, it is is still a very beautiful dress, and I'm looking forward to wearing it!
