Ethereal and Elegant

Prosethereal, elegant, comfortable

I needed a gown for a black tie event in NYC that didn't look like a prom dress or a bridesmaids dress. You wouldn't believe how difficult that was to accomplish in my state!
The chiffon on this dress is made out of an otherworldly cloud of smokey purple color that floats around when you walk. The waistband is fitted, giving an extra illusion of a tiny middle. You can wear a normal bra with this dress because of the wider, yet airy straps.
I felt like a fairy princess that had just walked out of her castle in the forest. I think every woman wants to feel like a princess! I can not tell you how many times I heard the word 'ethereal' that night. It almost felt like there was magic in the air. I think I got more compliments than anyone else on my dress. The picture does not do it justice. I was lucky enough to find it in the store and try it on. It is such a subtle and alluring shade of purple. It reminds me of the clouds during a sunset on the ocean. It is a wonderful dress and it is amazingly comfortable.

Finally Perfect

There are not too many dresses for the Mother of the Bride/Groom that aren't either "frumpy" or inappropriate. This dress is neither. It is extremely flattering and still has soft fun flowy lines. I have to tell you though I had my alterations lady do some "magic" that made the dress absolutely perfect. I wanted something to cover my arms (and there is nothing out there that doesn't involve a jacket or shawl, I know I ordered multiple dresses) so I got matching material (that you Sandy at Nordstrom!!!) and she added a couple more rows of ruffles. If I figure out how to upload a photo I'm sending to the designer to help future mothers. In the mean time, try this dress and keep an open mind. It's beautifu.

Prospoorly made

The zipper was put in twisted so that even with the dress off there was no way to get past the area that was twisted. The thin plastic zipper then split open. Also the color of the dress is NOT the same as in the picture. The shimmery color is nice, but I wanted it to have a blue tone to it. The color in the sunlight is purple.

BEAUTIFUL dress ...

This dress was SO beautiful - I was broken-hearted to have to return it!! It is made for the small-breasted woman - not average, but small. It was the prettiest dress I've ever tried - if only I wasn't spilling out at the top!
