I purchased this dress to wear at my rehersal for my wedding. However, after wearing it with the shoes I had planned it still didn't look right. I am 5'2 and the way it is cut just made me look super short, even in 4 inch heels. I was afraid to get it altered, because of tiers. I had to return it.
The lighting wasn't the best when the picture was taken..
I bought this dress for an evening awards dinner at a nice hotel downtown. The dress is very appealing, elegant, feminine. The picture does not do it justice. While the color IS navy, it's not a boring dull navy. To me, there's a very slight iridescent tone in the dress that adds to it in the best way...you almost get the feeling of dual tones adding to the navy...almost a beautiful jeweled emerald as well in certain lighting. The flutter aspect adds flair & character to the dress. It fit me like a glove & was SO comfortable. I didn't have to worry about sucking in my stomach or anything cause the flutter hides anything you don't want sticking out. I'm 5'9", 145-150 pounds & got a size 8 & it was perfect. At the event that evening, I had 3 or 4 random women come up to me & comment on how exquisite the dress was. You could tell they wished they were wearing this dress instead of their basic same-old go-to cocktail dress. I felt beautiful in this dress!

Love the layered ruffles on this dress. It's very slimming and form fitting with flow. Perfect for weddings. I got it in grey but every color seems to be very pretty.
This dress is much more beautiful than the picture shows. It flows like the petals of a flower and compliments the body of a woman in all the right ways. With sparkly sandals it is perfect for a nice event. In fact, I wore mine at my wedding reception in Maui. I highly recommend.
