have been shopping forever for Mother of the Bride dress, and this was one that my daughter LOVED when I tried it on; however, it is way toooooo LONG! I am 5'5" and it was at least 4 inches too long. Because of the many gauzy layers, it is almost impossible to have tailored. But it is a gorgeous dress that feels very light and lovely and feminine. Best for a much taller, slimmer person. So sad....petite size is shorter but too tight in the chest area.

When I first saw this, I thought it might look old on me until I read such great reviews about it. Whether it was for a prom, a guest of a wedding, a mother of the bride, or a bridesmaid each person felt beautiful in it so I order it. I FEEL gorgeous in this! I'm going to be wearing this as a guest at the wedding. I'm 5'4 and a size 1, so I had to get it tailored around the waist and back area just a bit and hem it up. Very feminine, and I got it in green!

I love, love, love this gown! I'm a 5'5" 135 lb pear shape & usually wear a 6 or 8. The 6 was a little big so I tried a 6 Petite & it fit like a glove. I bought it in stream which is a beautiful color. I also found Elie Tahari "Pauline" dark silver sandals at Nordsrom. Perfect together! I feel wonderful in this slimming, elegant, flattering gown. I can't wait to wear it to my daughter's wedding. What a relief to find such a fabulous gown!

I started looking at dresses almost a year ahead of my son's wedding never dreaming that the first one I order was going to be perfect, but this one was. It was very stylish and looks elegant on me. The flowing material cascades beautifully over my hips and the waistline is very slimming on me. I am 5 feet 10 inches and it is long enough for me which even surprised my husband because I am wearing 3 inch heels with it. The color I ordered is violet and it will work well with the spring wedding. I LOVE this dress.
