this dress is very flattering. i wish i could have purchased at size 4 and i am having it hemmed by quite a large amount. i'm over 5'3" and it's probably 5-6 inches too long. thank goodness i have a great friend who does alterations. it is a lovely dress and very comfortable

I bought this dress to wear for my daughter's wedding. Originally I had purchased the same dress in light lavender, in size 6. It was too long, and since I did not plan to wear heels and it seemed a bit too big, I thought maybe a size 4 would fit better and be shorter. It, too, was too long and I ended up having it hemmed. But it fit like a glove and I felt very feminine and beautiful in this dress. It really flowed well over my hips, and made my waistline look quite small. Loved it!!!

I have been looking for this dress for over a year. The violet color is perfect. It has all the flattering elements if your figure isn't quite perfect, and simply lovely on anyone.

I wore this dress for a formal black tie banquet. Not only did I feel elegant in this light, floor length gown but I received so many compliments from friends. This is the perfect dress for an sophisticated occasion. It is also suitable for the spring or summer as it is light in weight and free flowing from the waist.
It is form fitting at the chest and waist and then falls elegantly in swirling chiffon to the floor. I am 5' 5" and a 3/4-1 inch heel was perfect.
I found the dress to be flattering. It accentuated the bust, minimized the waist and elongated the frame.
After this experience buying blind from Nordstrom, I would certainly do this again.
