Was looking for a dress for an important moment in our lives. My intent was just to order something in case I couldn't find something else. When this arrived and I put it on....my looking was over. Simple, classic, appropriate without being matronly.
I ordered this dress in the navy and was quite pleased with the color when it arrived. I had ordered 7 navy dresses over a two week period (trying to find "the one" to wear to a wedding) and was surprised at the vast difference in what was considered navy. This dress is what I would consider a true navy; a dark, muted blue. The dress itself is very flattering. I had my first child last September and still have a soft middle. With the proper half slip, I looked quite nice considering the fit is very " hugging". The fabric is fantastic; I personally am a big fan of matte jersey. The only down side to this dress and the ultimate reason it went back, is that the seam under the bust started to creep up with my movement. I am busty but the fit of the dress was spot on (I'm 5'5" 175 and ordered a 14) so I feel this was just a design flaw. Perhaps the depth of the bust wasn't properly proportionate to the overall size. Either way it's a lovely dress for the right person.

Not a flattering style if you don't have snake-hips. I have girl-hips, so the puckering on the "faux wrap" just looked like the dress was about to explode. Also, if you're tall, this dress will fall above your knees.
Fabric was less than deluxe and the finishing on the dress was very poor. Took it back immediately.

Love this dress! Fabric and cut is very forgiving and yet form-fitting. It drapes beautifully and I have gotten lots of compliments.
