The best lightweight summer sandal seen so far

I have purchased this for my son 2 summers in a row and am planning to purchase one for next summer. The cons are as follows: the support is not great and they fit narrow (consider if your toddler has chubby feet, which my son does). The pros: lightweight - lighter than any other sandal out there, easy on/off (big consideration with a toddler), better material than crocs, thin decent quality rubber (great for splashing in fountains, sprinklers, around pools etc) closed toe (this is a big one as I don't understand toddler sandals with open toes - they both look terrible and expose the toes to injury) and they look pretty good. Many people have asked me where I found them. I haven't seen anything better for this purpose. My son likes to wear them, despite the fact that they are narrow and he has wide feet.

Bought these for my 19 month old son, could not get him to wear anything but Crocs! He is in between sizes & I ordered them online, but I knew with Nordstrom's great return policy if they did not fit I could easily take them back. Pleasantly surprised with how great they fit! Stay on well & have a pretty decent support. Also, love that they have closed toes to avoid any stubbed toes while running around. Great shoe!

I purchased 2 of these sandals along with many keen styles. Both my kids age 3 and 6 loved these right away. They have had keens in the past (which I personally prefer because of the durability and extra protection) but these nike's are lightweight and fit slimmer than the keens. My kids put them on and didn't want to take them off. easy to put on , even for a 3 year old. They are waterproof, the upper seems to be a neoprene material--similar to that of a wetsuit. They are also among the more affordable water sandals that Nordstrom sells--so that was a plus. The sole is thick enough to make it comfortable to walk on the street so it's not just a beach shoe.
