BEST JEANS
PostedApril 27, 2012
Diesels are the best. I have bought these same jeans twice in two years. I am typically a 33, but I am a 32 in these. They go great in numerous occasions.

Proportionately, the thighs are far too tight.

Prosdisappointing
I saw these at Nordstrom and instantly loved them. I hate designers who feel a need to destroy my jeans for me or add in insanely abstract pieces that make the product look gaudy. So the nice dark wash with very minimal intentional wear and no gaudy garbage appealed to me. All was perfect until I pulled them on... In my normal size, 30, the thighs were a slim fit. They were almost on the verge of too tight, though they were still in that range where they were usable and comfortable. The waist, however, felt like at least an inch could have been cut out. I still decided to get them, though, since the slim legs hugged my butt and thighs tight enough to keep them from falling down. As I walked, though, they slowly slid down about 2 or so inches until it looked as if I were sagging them a little bit. I wore them this way for a few weeks before I finally became fed up having to pull up on the waist every few minutes of walking. Designer jeans are supposed to be above that. So, I returned them and ordered a 29 hoping the waist wouldn't fall down. The 29 waist fit perfectly, however, the thighs felt like they were designed for guy with extreme chicken legs. I'm a high school senior cross country runner and hurdler, so my legs are slightly larger than some, though they are not extremely stocky. I have not had this problem with any other pair of jeans I have ever owned. So the only thing I can figure is that Diesel either wanted to make some jeans for guys with muscle-less legs who probably have a hard time going up a flight of stairs, or for guys with a large gut. Either way, I am extremely disappointed. These jeans are beautiful, and I love seeing them, though they just weren't made for an athletic build.
