Yes, this is probably as close to perfect as one can arrive for a Cross Body Bag that is well designed, beautifully made, constructed of excellent materials, has USABLE pockets, beautiful red lining with great pockets, and a lovely make-up zipped pouch with a lanyard.
No, it will not hold a regular size tablet nor a laptop nor files.
Yes, I have accepted that I will continue to carry a second large messenger bag for the laptops (yes, plural), tablet, Kindle Fire, file folders, leather bound calendar which I must use for legal reasons.
Mia is large enough that I can carry my Olympus G12 camera inside the main compartment. I also can carry other small nylon pouches for various items.
The strap works well and Mia is perfectly balanced.
I could not tolerate the weight of a loaded "Belle" with the same strap. Belle needs a padded or leather strap-----and then I could put everything into Belle.
Yes, this is not inexpensive. But this purse is very comfortable and also an attractive size. Mia makes me smile when I open the purse and see the perfect red lining.
This Cross Body Bag should last and last and last. Mia also looks great with a dressed down, business, or even a more casual evening event.
I understand completely why Mia is the most popular of all the MZ Wallace purses. It is as versatile and well made as any purse I have ever found in the constant hunt for the perfect purse.

This crossbody holds so much and is BiGGER than the Sophie. The crossbody is so functional. A real classic, looks classy. I have bigger MZ Wallace bags but love this for quick trips, a real "go to " bag. Love the black nylon bedford, everything wipes off from rain to small stains at meals. Really waterproof and durable.

Love my Mia Crossbody!

This is my first MZ Wallace bag and it is everything I had hoped for and more -- lightweight, stylish, durable, easy to clean and with just the right capacity for my daily essentials. I have a hard time keeping organized but this bag makes it very easy. I love the detachable market purse, too. I use it almost exclusively cross body but it's nice to have the option of adjusting the strap.

Proscomfortable, light weight
I love this bag. I tried it on for 2 days in the store and would walk around like I owned it. FINALLY I bought it. I love this bag. I love how easy it is to find my keys in their own special middle zipper. I love the little makeup bag that came inside perfect for my chapstick, lip gloss and powder. I love how the inside is RED!!! Its super sexy and fun. I am so glad I went for it and got it. It is such a sweet, happy and did I say sexy bag? :-) Enjoy-
