Soft leather, but 'style' did not fit my foot. I found the shoe to be long and pointed at toes. A shorter, more rounded toe shoe is best for me. Why I gave "a little big" was because of long length; "a bit narrow" because a little tight in toe area.

THESE ARE THE MOST COMFORTABLE SHOES I HAVE EVER SLIPPED ON. THEY FEEL LIKE LEATHER GLOVES FOR YOUR FEET. YOU CAN DRESS THESE UP OR DOWN. YOU COULD DANCE ALL NIGHT IN THEM AS I DID AT A BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN CONCERT AT WRIGLEY FIELD. ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM.

Lovely shoe but

I wanted to love these. Was searching for the perfect shoe to take on a trip--one I could walk in but looked nice with most anything. Ordered it in my normal size and it swam on me. Ordered it a half size down and it was still too big. Was scared to order another half size down so I returned them. I think they would look great and be comfortable if they fit right, and the pewter color was very attractive. Sigh.

These shoes are SO comfortable, I bought them in the store in the fall and just ordered two more pair to have them on hand when the ones I bought wear out. They are the most comfortable walking shoes, which are stylish, I've ever bought.
