These are a really nice pair of boots. Mine were in the grey which is a taup/grey color and it looks very nice. They fit well on the foot but definitely run a little smaller than indicated. I am a true 7 1/2 and on the narrower side of normal medium width and got the 38. It fits perfectly so 38 is not an 8. If you are an 8, I would suggest ordering the 38 and 39 to see what fits better.
These boots are fantastic, and I love the soles- super comfortable. I may have misunderstood their interpretation of the European sizing, but since I ordered online I had to bring them into a Nordstrom and exchange them for a size down. If they came in half sizes I would have done that.

I love these boots. it feels like you are walking on cloud. I got so many complements at work, in the street every where I went people commented on them. They worth every penny.
