I'm a consistent size 8 and found the 38 to be too tight all around and the toe box was narrow. I would consider trying a larger size if they fit my calves better but I'm afraid even if my foot fits the calves will remain tight. I'm going to return them and continue my search.
I liked the look of them in person and wished they fit better!
Great, sporty boot that looks great with jeans,skirts,just about any any outfit, especially Eileen Fisher clothes!Beautiful shade of gray, versitle color. Best part of this boot is the comfort. Most comfortable boot I have owned.
These are my favorite pair of boots ever! The color goes with everything, the style is casual but can be dressed up, the leather is soft, and the boots are comfortable for long hours on your feet and for walking. My only complaint is that after having them for only a few weeks, the back heel has worn down, causing me to slip several times in the rain and snow. Now I am a little bit afraid to wear them for fear of slipping and falling. I may take them in to a cobbler to get them re-heeled as I truly love them. They are more comfortable than my several pairs of Frye boots or cowboy boots.
Nice looking boots. Runs a bit narrow in the footbed. I need a roomy toe box for a bunion so I sized up 1/2 size. I would size up a whole size if wearing very thick socks. Have not yet worn out of the house so I can't speak for all day comfort. Considering returning as I think these boots should be at least $60 less. That being said, if you have money to splurge, they are very nice & seem like good quality. They are also comfortable from the short amount of time wearing them in the house. The grey is a neutrall & nice change from black. Soft leather.
