I'm 5'10", 190 lbs and bought these in both a L and a XL, even though based on my weight I'd be in the XL category. So glad I did! While both sizes fit, the XL were completely falling down by the end of the day, whereas the L were slightly tight but stayed put all day. Regardless of the size, I liked the style of the waistband and the fact that it's the same degree of opaqueness the full way up my leg. Would recommend these if you get the right size!
