These were both a little big and a little small. Too short in the rise, too big in the waist, legs too narrow, narrower than other NYDJ straight legs I have purchased in the past. NYDJ is wonderful when the fit is right but the sizing is not consistent. Ordered these online without benefit of trying them on first, won't do that again. Returned them.

I bought these jeans along with a sweater and scarf for my mother. She is 60+ and loves the fit. They are too long however, she is 5'4. She is going to take them to her seamstress so that is easily solved.

Same pant, different fit

I bought separately on the same day two pair of Marilyn Sretch Straight Leg Jeans NYDJ. Ordered same size--one fit, the other way too small. Everything was the same except one was velveteen and th other was denim. Now I have to drive over to your Woodland Hills store to return.
In general, I love the fit of NYDJ. However, after saying that, I must add that you MUST try on the jeans as the fit is different from even the same size but of a different color of the same jean. Also, NYDJ REALLY needs better fabric control as I have had the same jean, same size and one shrunk too small to wear and the other stretches out baggy.
