I can't say enough about these jeans - they are the perfect combination of denim and spandex. I have been searching for these jeans for a LONG time - so glad I found them. They don't stretch out of shape after a day and are the perfect length for me at 5'6" - the leg is slim but not tight and they wash well (cold wash, low dry for about 15 minutes and then hung). I love the Blue/Black because it doesn't have the typical orange jeans stitching so they are a bit dressier. I did wash them once before wearing as suggested (to remove excess dye) and didn't have any problems with shrinkage - I measured the length before I washed them. I didn't size down as suggested by some - I thought they fit perfectly.

I love NYDJ. They seem to always fit just right and these did not disappoint. Love the dark wash too. Great for a more polished look.

Had to return as the waist was a bit too tight. I would go up a size, especially, if you are between sizes. The color and the stretch was nice.
