Purchased this for my mother-in-law for a birthday gift and she really seemed to love it. It's a great gift item - a unique twist on an everyday cardigan basic.
I'm wearing this piece as I write this review (it's October in Texas and the heat is not on yet and it's chilly in the house!) So cozy! Also, I feel elegant in it when going out because of the graceful design, yet because of the material, it's casual enough to wear with sneakers. Perfect for the fall in Austin and even some of those milder days in winter, I'm hoping. The cozy fleece inside is a big plus on such a lightweight piece. I didn't have the arm issues that others mentioned, though my arms are average (My arms are not a problem area for me. However, I'm no petite person either: a broad-shouldered, busty 5'6 and 156 pounds and I fit just fine in a medium).
I love these wraps. I have several. When I ordered this one I did not have one near me to look at to see which size I owned. I wear a 12/14 or Large. I wanted this to be larger to wear over bulky clothes, which means I’d normally order an XL. Since the write up says to order a size down as it runs large, I figured I’d order a Large and it’s fit like an XLarge would. No, it fits true to size. The L arms were even uncomfortably tight over another shirt. So I’d say it runs true to size. On a plus, I LOVE LOVE LOVE these wrap cardis. I have black, burgundy, and brown. I want to get the rest! I love being able to move around in them. I love that they look cute over outfits, intentional, not like a normal jacket. I feel like they are an addition to an outfit and not something that covers it up. They can be worn over dresses or jeans and everything in between. I’ve washe them several times and they look fantastic. I do wash them alone to protect them.
