I have this in two colours: purple (from a few seasons ago) and mink. (I buy a small - I'm 5'5'', 130lbs.) It's my go-to layer for long flights (to combat air conditioning + the discomforts of red-eye travel) and fall weather, when a quilted jacket isn't quite called for, but a summer sweater isn't enough. I also just bought another for my sister-in-law. It always looks great with skinny jeans and boots. I also think it will be great as a nursing mum (I'm expecting) - not frumpy, but extra fabric when you need to cover up baby unexpectedly. Highly recommended - and almost always on sale!
I don't think I'm alone when I say these cardigans are the most versatile piece of clothing in my closet. I pair mine with skirts or slacks for a day at the office, and I throw them on with leggings and boots for Saturday errands. I own four of these cardigans and probably won't stop there. They're made of an ultra soft fleece which puts them high on my list of comfy must-haves. However don't be deceived by the word "comfy", because buttoned up or opened and flowing, I can find a million things to put them with.
I bought one for myself last spring and immediately fell in love. It can easily be dressed up or dressed down but is always comfortable. I loved it so much that I bought another one for myself. Then I bought them as Christmas gifts for my friends, sister-in-law and mom.
I bought this sweater in gray. It's so warm and looks so much more stylish than a fleece jacket. It feels like a cozy sweatshirt but looks like a grown up sweatshirt!
