I ordered the silver color and this is an extremely warm, comfortable, and soft sweater. I love the "cape" feeling of it and the one-button closure makes it easy for me to layer with a nursing camisole to breastfeed my daughter without sacrificing any of the warmth of this sweater. My ONLY criticism is that I am petite and I ordered the regular XS. It is not as long in the back as it looks in the pictures. It's definitely longer in the front, but the back came down more to my hips than my butt, meaning I have to pair this with a longer shirt to wear with leggings. That's my only complaint. I also think for the silver shade the button should be a black or silver color, not the brown. But that's easy to swap out and doesn't change the fact that this was an awesome buy that will get a lot of use and the sale price is fantastic.
This sweater is as comfortable as wearing a blanket draped over your shoulders, but it pretty much looks like one too. The material is standard athletic sweatshirt material, smooth on the front but fuzzy on the back. Because the inside is often visible due to the way it drapes, it really does look like a sweatshirt. Perfect for throwing over jeans or yoga pants, but I disagree that this sweater can be effectively dressed up.
