The fleece lining of this cardigan is so comfortable and cozy. This is a functional piece, and a great one to keep in the office for the AC, yet it is also stylish. I like wearing it either buttoned or unbuttoned--both look good. Fits perfectly; true to size.
Drapes well. I actually sized up because I wanted more drape and the sleeves are literally skin tight anyway. The red is a nice heathered coral color. You'd probably want to stick to something sleeveless underneath as the interior fabric is brushed but the sleeves are very tight and the interior fabric is a synthetic sort of fluff, not fleece or French terry. Keep in mind the whole thing is synthetic.
The color I got has a sheen that is almost sparkling or frosted the way synthetics can be when not mixed with natural fibres.
I'm exchanging the coral for the charcoal hoping it's not as sparkly -- otherwise I'll wear it at night. Just a personal thing for me I don't like sheeny synthetics in the sunlight.
It's definitely cute to wear over sleeveless or to use as a first layer with a tank and layer up with scarves. Would go under a coat very easily too. May require hand washing to keep the sparkly fuzz from the interior from getting on your other clothes. Hope this helps.
Just bought this item in the Mink color and its a great neutral taupe color. It is so soft inside, you'll never want to take it off. It has a nice drape and looks great buttoned or unbuttoned for casual or office wear. I own several Bobeau cardigans in many colors, winter and summer weight. I can get away with a petite size (5'3") but prefer the regular so its a little longer.
Love this cardigan! In fact I own it in both the charcoal and black colors. It fits great (I purchased it in an X-Small) and I receive compliments on it whenever I wear it. Love the button detail---it really adds a little pizazz to the jacket. It's made well and washes well also---not much pilling of the fabric. Overall, I would recommend the Bobeau One Button Fleece Wrap Cardigan to anyone that likes warmth and style!
