Like the champagne color. And it is free from harmful chemicals!!
The color on the computer monitor looks far different than the Nordstrom's or even the JI site. If you log onto JI and look at the video demonstration of eye silk, the model is using the champagne color and the color appears true to life. It is a light, creamy color with subtle shimmer, and not dusky at all as it appears on the two websites.
Best to use a brush to apply. It is a little difficult to control straight from the doe foot applicator.
The brown silk I did not care for and will be returning. It is more on the copper side where I prefer a sable brown.

Proseasy to blend
This is a terrific eye shadow although the color wasn't quite what I was looking for. Would love to see this in more colors and will definitely try those out if more colors are provided

Proseasy to blend, smudgable, long-lasting, great value, awesome line, beautiful colors
I have extremely sensitive skin, prone to allergic reactions to a number of chemicals, common ingredients, including "natural" ones that are in many products labelled for "sensitive skin". Since discovering the Jane Iredale line, I have never had any problems with any of her products. I love her make-up, including these silky eye shadows. They go on easily, are not heavy feeling, and work well on aging skin. Some items seem a little pricey--but you will find they go a long way and actually end up being a great value. Try these--you won't be disappointed!

Proseasy to blend, long-lasting
Powder is not a friend to the fine lines on my face, so I was delighted to find these eye glosses. I bought the champagne silk first as it's so versatile, and quickly went back to get 3 more colors. It stays on, works great under liquid eyeliner, and is especially great if you are like me and have some heavy lids that just need a coating of a neutral color. I've also used two shades - a dark color in the crease and the lighter shade above, for a nighttime look. Jane Iredale products are also free of nasty chemicals, as an added bonus.
