I wanted a peel that wasn't some ridiculously, harsh scrub. I have always loved philosophy and have rarely been disappointed by their products. I purchased this to control my acne a bit more...I have combo skin...that doesn't break out really but gets clogged a lot if that makes sense. I'm naturally very tanned but have some discoloration on my cheeks as well and wanted to try to soften that. I ordered this a couple weeks ago. My one problem= I wish the directions were more explicit because it doesn't say or recommend how many times to use it or more importantly not use. I don't like guessing...because I have used another scrub that wrecked my face. I was hesitant to use this but I figured I would just feel it through. So, I have only used this peel twice (once a week). It's thick almost like hair gel...very simple to apply, didn't have to use much...only to cheeks, forehead and chin. Worked instantly. My skin felt smooth and only slight taught. Very subtle. My face didn't feel dry or damaged. I moisturized, put on spf and proceeded with my makeup. I have been in the sun a lot too (with spf 70 on my face). No breakouts, no irritation so far. I think it's a great buy so far.

I love this peel. It is gentle yet provides a nice glow even after one use. A little too much for everyday use but twice a week gives a nice glow.

Ah....Philosophy....this works just like all the products from this company. I have not yet purchased anything from them doesnt live up to the description. I started with one of the sets that had Hope in a Jar and was immediately hooked. I am in the process of using up what I have drom another company and replacing with this one, My skin is really looking better....and I knpw this because I have had friends notice
