Proseasy to blend, long-lasting
I would recommend this brand of eye shadow to anyone who likes quality, with one caveat: The colors don't go on nearly as dark or bright as in the package. This is actually a good thing, as you can control how much color you want instead of getting a blast of color all at once. Also, the colors you see on the web aren't exactly what you get, so it would be wise to look at them in person. Otherwise, excellent buy, even for the price!

Eye shadow from Estee Lauder

Proseasy to blend
I like the lighter shades, although eye shadow doesn't usually last too long on me, I find that if I use MAC long lasting cream eyeshadow as a base, any eye shadow I apply becomes last lasting. MAC just doesn't always have the lighter colors that I prefer

Itched my eyes
PostedDecember 14, 2013
Prosnot much pigment, itches my eyes, pretty pallatte
Pros:
1). Lovely shadow colors in pan
2). Diverse types of shadows
3). Gorgeous outer box (gold)
4). Neutral every day wear that can move to night easily
5). Decent not outstanding but very decent overall
Cons:
1). Very light color payoff - very very light - think drugstore brand payoff
2). Itched my eyes perhaps it was the pink
3). Cannot really use the darker color as a liner; too sparkly
4). Pink color is just a bunch of sparkles
5). Brown and Grey Colors are most use able
7). Lightest cream color is not even as good drug store quality (L'Oreal $2.88) and is not a good texture
BOTTOM LINE: RETURNING
AVERAGE (but I suppose at $40 - $50 and 5 shadows, appropriately priced)
BACK to Laura Mercier.
They are not superbly pigmented as many brands on the market (Urban Decay for example), but give me enough pigment and payoff, no itch and look gorgeous all the time. No itch to my eyes
I make my own 3 pan pallatte and the colors are always right. I also have a few Paula Dorf shadows that I enjoy.
Laura Mercier shadows are much more expensive, I do not bother with her pallattes as I end up using only a handful of colors, and run out of the light colors fast. Never itch my eyes, and I end up buying the expensive pans, and own the 3-single pan holder pallatte organizer.
Was hoping to save some money; took a leap of faith with Estee Lauder.
Can see that this is not going to work at all.
