Proseasy to blend, smudgable, long-lasting, richly pigmented, color true wear
First of all, let me say that these beautiful shadows are the first items by Estee Lauder that I have purchased in more than thirty years. So what brought that about? Reliable beauty bloggers have been spreading the word that Tom Pecheaux has breathed new life into the brand.
For quite awhile, I had been looking for a deep, warm, forest green that I could use along the lash line and then fade into Edward Bess’ Intimate on the lid. Although I had found some beautiful greens, they were either too cool or too khaki and did nothing to enhance my dark, moss green eyes. But, after reading a review on the new shadows, I decided to go and see if Tom Pecheaux had created the green of my dreams. Well, he had! It’s called Emerald Star and it’s a deep, warm, emerald green with just a hint of gold. I promptly purchased it and went straight home to give my new treasure a test run. The richly pigmented shadow glided on like butter and imparted a soft, color true sheen that lasted all afternoon and into the night. I had found perfection!
The Pure Color eye shadow had a depth of color, smooth and creamy texture, ease of blending, and color true wear time that made it a real standout. I was so impressed with Emerald Star’s look and performance that a couple days later I went back for
Hot Cinnamon and Sugar Biscuit. Me? Buying Estee Lauder?? Yes indeed!
Tom Pecheaux has managed to take Estee Lauder from ho-hum to sensational. Bravo M. Pecheaux!
