Perfect Boot!

I have always had wide calves and was never completely satisfied with fit and quality of other brand boots... until now! These Blondo boots felt perfect from the moment I put them on. The break-in time was barely noticeable. I was recently diagnosed with a heel spur which made me wince with every step in other boots. These, however, are so solidly constructed that I am finding that, the longer I wear them, the less I experience ANY pain. On top of the great fit and outstanding support, they are constructed of durable waterproof leather, great tread for winter surfaces, and they look fantastic. These are my new go-to boots for travel as well as everyday wear and I hope that Nordstrom will carry Blondo brand forever!

Wasn't What I Expected

I have been looking for knee high boots for wide calves--16"circumference--for a long time. I'm a dancer and have trouble fitting into cute knee high boots and end up buying mid calf boots because of my calves. I ordered these boots size 7M for pick up at the store and couldn't wait to try them out. The calf part was perfect but the foot part was a little narrow with thin socks. I tried the boots on without socks and the boots felt better. After zipping the boots and walked around, I noticed that the ankle part bunched wierd. The boot didn't have that straight look appearance. It looked like I had really, really narrow ankles and then the calf part widened up and away. I'm returning these and ordered a 7.5W and hopefully I'll have better luck.
These boots fit me perfectly - I'm 5'2 with a size 7.5 foot and a very wide calf. They are comfortable and VERY flattering. They elongate and slenderize, plus they are very stylish. I will be proud to walk around in these boots! I also like the fact that they are water resistant so I can wear them in the snow without worrying about ruining them. Haven't worn them outside yet so not sure if the leather breathes or if they are hot, like some weatherproof boots.

The boots fit great and I'm glad I had a chance to read the reviews first. My calves are about 17.5 inches. The person who said they would "stretch out" was right and even though it seemed initially a bit tight, it fits just right after 2 wearings. Nice quality boot. Waterproof is good for the Seattle area. I ordered it and picked it up in the store in case they didn't fit. That way I knew they'd have my size. But, it all worked out.
