It's 5 stars for the style but only 3 stars for the size. Too bad, I had to return the boots. I ordered my size (6) in wide calf and I could only zip it halfway. I have athletic calves. Sorry to see them go back, but the insoles and the rubber sole were so comfortable but way too narrow for my feet. I wonder whether Nordstrom made a mistake and sent me the size 6 regular calf? I will keep on searching for the perfectly made wide-calf boots.

Nice boots; a little stiff. I have 16" calfs and the fit here was fine. The problem was that the foot bed was too narrow and instep was tight. Had to return them.

I live in Minnesota where ice and snow is a major issue. I have a pair of Blondo engineer boots purchashed in 2005, which are totally awesome. Waterproof leather, warm fleece lining and the best lug sole I've seen on any fashion boot. LOVE THEM! The heel has worn down, and had rubber replaced, but the shoemaker had to use smooth rubber rather than the lug. Was sooooo incredibly happy when I found these boots at Nordstrom. I bought immediately after seeing them online, as I had looked throughout the years for an additional pair, and was always told by sales people they didn't have anything like my boots, meaning AS NICE. Highly recommend. My calf is 15.5 inches, and have room for skinney jeans tucked in. Indispensable if you live in a harsh winter climate, need traction, warmth and style!
