I purchased these boots as a gift and my recipient couldn't have been happier! I was specifically looking for a boot that would be versatile yet classic and would last for her. I was also looking for a wider shaft boot which can be a little challenging to find. This boot was exactly what I was looking for and is TRUE to size, especially in the calf area which my recipient has had a hard time finding in the past. If you are like that and want a very classic style riding boot that is comfortable yet versatile, this is it! She loves them and I couldn't be happier that Nordstrom once again provided me with a great product, and of course very quickly with no shipping costs. I couldn't have asked for more! I would definitely recommend these to anyone!

Cute Boots, but too big

I have pretty large calves and was excited to see these boots online because I thought I finally found a cute, comfortable black book that fits. But unfortunately, the shaft is too big... by at least 2 inches. I'm going to return these and try the regular size instead.
The boots look really good tough... quality leather, warm lining inside, and definitely a plus that it's water proof.

These are great! My only problem with them is that they aren't as stretchy as I had hoped. My calves are very muscular and I could fit the boots over them, but it's pretty tight. I don't think I'll be able to wear anything with them other than thin leggings. Hopefully they'll stretch because they're super cute!

As having big calves, I had a really hard time finding boots to fit. These boots fit great, they fit around my calves and just are very very comfortable to wear! I highly recommend them. I believe that they're a great investment, so I would spend the extra money for great fitting comfortable boots!
