Love these. No worries about wearing in snow, salt and out on the town. I usually size up a half size with boots. But with these, I am wearing regular shoe size.

Great fitting boot for anyone with larger calves. My calves measure approx. 15.5". First time I put on the boots there was some tension in the zipper and the elastic definitely helped. But with wear the leather has relaxed to fit me perfectly. Now I am able to zip the boots up with ease. Plenty of room to tuck in skinny jeans too.

First of all, in tall boot terms my calves are apparently gargantuan so the journey to find a boot to fit my calf and still be cute is not new to me. These Blondo boots fit the bill. I was a bit worried when I first put them on as they felt narrow in the foot, though they are marked medium width. (side note: while my calves may be large, my foot is not wide) I decided to give them a few hours on my feet to see if there was any "give", turns out I totally had no binding, tightness issues whatsoever...continued wearing them for the entire day (shopping, dinner out). The leather is waterproofed as advertised so you shouldn't expect a soft, very supple leather however, it isn't overly stiff either (so far they remain upright when I take them off, no flopping over or rolled up magazines in the shaft). Waterproofing seems to work as it rained a lot and my feet stayed dry. I did try them on with jeans and was able to get skinny jeans tucked into the boot as well. They look good dressed up or down.
